The role of the committee
The Coombes Woodlands Committee (CWC) is constituted as a standing Committee of Barkham Parish Council and Arborfield & Newland Parish Council (referred to as ‘the Councils’). The Committee is empowered by the Councils to act on its behalf on all matters relating to The Coombes Woodlands, owned jointly by the Parish Councils. It is the responsibility of the committee to oversee and administer all aspects of managing the woodlands, on behalf of the Councils.
Committee meetings
The Committee meet at least three times a year. Meetings in 2026 will be held in January, April, June and September. The public can submit questions and enquiries about the woodlands for consideration and discussion at these meetings – contact us via info@thecoombeswoodlands.com
